Jazz vs. Suns

This Tuesday Sean's work (Klune) gave us tickets to the Utah Jazz VS the Phoenix Suns Basket Ball game! I was so nervous that i was going to hate it, i am not the biggest sports person. Really not a sports person at all.  But I ended up having a wonderful time! The game was great and it ended up being the deciding factor for the Jazz to go to the "PLAY OFFS" (everyone was chanting that at the end of the game)

WE had great seats! we were on the 23rd row and it was perfect!

We stayed over night at this not so upper class hotel in salt lake, so we could go to Hogle Zoo in the morning. It was well worth it! in all honesty i think i was more excited for the Zoo then the Game. 

don't tell Sean!  *wink*

 Over all it was a wonderful get away, in a way kinda of like a mini honey moon. in the sense that Sean and i know that our life together is going to get really busy soon and we wont have a chance to get away for a long time. 

So Thanks Klune for buying us tickets and giving us a chance to get out'a doge!

Moments That Matter Most

A teary afternoon

Its been kinda a weird afternoon for me, but weird in a good way. I didn't think when i was logging on to LDS.org that i would end up crying or be so spiritually uplifted. I was trying to find out how to change our address where our church magazines were sent to, and then i saw the Mormon messages channel and thought i would watch a few, and they were just what i needed.

I posted below the 3 videos i watched, the first on is of the temple in El Salvador, it was a beautiful message of the importance of the temple, and it made me realize how lucky we are here in Utah with our 13 temples (with 2 more under construction). While i was watching that video i felt the peace that i only get in the celestial room with my husband, and it was a wonderful reminder that Sean and i need to go more, a lot more.

The second one is call Expressions of love, and was also just what i needed! I couldn't help but think how much i love Sean and how everyday i am truly grateful for him and his tenderness to me. He means everything to me and i couldn't go through this life without him

And the last video is call "the moments that matter most".

I really did need this, because i have been really struggling with life lately. On new years eve i tried to think about what happened during the year and all i could think of were these negative things like, we are trying to sell our house, Sean's car blew up, we moved, my dog died, we were always tight on money, we could never go anywhere and the list goes on and on.

I couldn't think of one good thing! How sad is that?!

But after watching this video i looked back and think, that wasn't such a bad year? Sean and i never fought over money or anything serious ( lol its always about him doing the dishes when we did) I thought about all the times we laid out in the hammock and talked about our dreams, or what our kids would be like, rules we would like to have for them, and how Sean would have to keep me from being to strict with our kids and how he would have to learn to ignore the "puppy eyes". Or how we would do silly things like drive up to whiting camp ground just for a pick nick, my favorite thing was when Sean had just finished cutting the grass in the back yard, and he was walking back to the house, i turned the sprinklers on him and it ended up being a Huge water fight for like an hour or so. these are the things i need to remember to look for!

Anyways these were just somethings i got to think through this afternoon, I'm sure it sounds a little crazy and all but i just wanted to share an uplifting moment with you guys!
